working-together
Working together and costs
How much does a website cost?
A business card site from PLN 2,500, a company website or online shop from PLN 5,000. The exact price depends on the number of pages, features and whether the content is ready. After a short conversation I prepare a free quote with a clearly defined scope — no hidden costs.
How long does it take?
A simple business website usually takes 2–4 weeks. Larger projects and online stores take longer. We agree on a deadline at the start and stick to it.
Who owns the domain and the website?
You do. The domain, hosting and website files belong to you, and I hand over all credentials. No lock-in to a contractor. If we ever stop working together, I’ll hand everything over so that the next person can easily take over the website.
Do you work with businesses outside Poland?
Yes. I work remotely — we talk online and by email, so location doesn’t matter.
after-launch
After launch
Can I edit the content myself?
Of course. I set up WordPress websites so that editing text, images and posts is easy. After launch you get a short training.
Will my website show up in Google?
Every website I build is prepared for search engines: fast loading, a proper structure, descriptions and a sitemap, plus submission to Google. That’s a solid foundation. Ranking high for competitive phrases takes longer, though, and depends on content and customer reviews, among other things.
Can you take over an existing website?
Yes. I start with a review: update status, security, backups, performance. Then you know what needs fixing and what works well.
care
Care and security
Do I have to buy ongoing care after launch?
No. Care is optional: you get the website and all access credentials as your own, so you can look after it yourself or hand it to someone else. I do recommend it, though, because a WordPress website that isn’t updated slows down, breaks or becomes an easy target for attacks over time.
What if my website goes down?
I get an automatic alert. I find the cause and fix the problem, restoring the site from a backup if needed.
My website has been hacked. What should I do?
Change your hosting and WordPress passwords, don’t delete files on your own and get in touch. I assess the damage, clean up the website and close the hole the attackers used.
accessibility
Accessibility and the law
Does my website need to be accessible?
Since 28 June 2025 many businesses, especially online stores and online services, have had to meet accessibility requirements. They come from EU rules (the European Accessibility Act) and the national laws implementing them, and in practice refer to the WCAG standard.
Do the rules apply to my business?
It depends on what you do and the size of your business. Microenterprises — fewer than 10 employees and up to €2 million annual turnover or balance sheet total — are exempt from the obligations for services. I can help you establish whether the rules cover your website.
Isn’t an accessibility plugin or overlay enough?
No. Overlays don’t fix issues in the code and often get in the way of people using screen readers. Accessibility has to be built into the website itself.
